12-06 by Dylan Frehner
Limited edition of 20 + 3AP
This photo was taken in Zurich on Uetlibergstrasse near the forest. I was just buying cigarettes when I noticed the reflection of the clock in the building. The distortion of the bell tower in the reflection appealed to me, because sometimes the time feels a bit distorted for me. In fact, at this point in my life, I felt like time had stopped and this photograph symbolizes that for me.
Dylan Frehner has developed a series of limited editions with collasta featuring his black and white photographs. Through largely personless compositions, they show the mood and aesthetics of American rural and city life.

About the artist
I have different creative processes for various mediums. My photography is simple, I go adventure around and just keep an open mind as I honestly try to take in my surroundings completely. I look for things that are unique. I would love to have another artist take one of my photographs and add their twist to it. I love collaborations because they are a combination of two or more talented perspectives on the world. With my digital work, I like to scoutthe internet for motivation and ideas. I play music to get my mood right, and I just zone in on what I am doing. I envision my mind creating something an it traveling down my neck, through my shoulders, down my arms, out of my fingertips and onto the screen in front of me. My drawing is entirely subconcious; I never have an idea of what I want to draw. I start with one line, and it manifests itself into something living. I would love to collaborate with any artist, either taking their artwork and digitally collaging it or having them add to my work as well.
